14) Memphis Grizzlies

Apparently, Memphis Grizzlies GM Chris Wallace sees something that the rest of us don’t. In an interview with The Commercial Appeal’s Ron Tillery this month, the team’s head executive said that playoffs are still the goal this season.

Said Wallace —

"“We’re very much committed to what we have here, which is for Marc and Mike to be the leaders of the team. We think they’re both good enough to take a team deep in the playoffs.”"

It pains me to say it, but he’s dead-wrong. Without MASSIVE upgrades to the rest of the roster, that duo isn’t going to get it done on their own. Especially when they can’t stay on the floor together. Grit n’ grind has reached its winter.
