With Christmas Eve upon us, it feels only fitting to take a look at what the top items on the Utah Jazz’s Christmas List should be!

At a 15-19 record and after losing eight of their last ten contests, there’s no denying that the 2017-18 season has been less than merry and bright so far for the Utah Jazz. Despite a hot streak to end November and start December, this month has gone about as imagined as Utah appears to be limping to the finish line with the holidays now upon us.

The Jazz have gone just 4-8 this month, which isn’t horrible all things considered and quite honestly includes some surprising wins over the likes of the Boston Celtics and San Antonio Spurs, but especially after a less than inspiring start to the year leading up to December, their recent woes have put them in a bit of a troubling hole. Fortunately, the three teams ahead of them in the standings have had their share of troubles as well and Utah is just 2.5 games out of the eighth spot in the West and just 3.5 games out of fifth.

In other words, while this latest stretch has been tough and the end of December will continue to be as well, the Jazz are still very much within striking distance of a playoff spot. They’ll need to make up significant ground in the upcoming two months, but doing so is certainly within the realm of possibilities.

But in order to do so, it’s likely that they’ll need to receive a few Christmas miracles to help them along the way. Therefore, hopefully the Jazz will find themselves on the nice list this year as there are several things they could use in order to make a playoff push in the new year. So gather round and grab your cup of cheer as we go over the four most pressing items on the Utah Jazz’s Christmas list.
