Overall GPA: 2.57 (B-minus)

Rodney Hood missed the first seven games of Utah’s last 10-game stretch. However, Hood has been great since his return.

He has scored over 14 points per game since his return to Utah’s bench rotation. What has been even more impressive is his suddenly improved effectiveness from beyond the arc.

In November, Hood shot a disappointing 38 percent from three. In Hood’s three games since returning from injury, he has shot nearly 59 percent from downtown.

Hood has embraced his new role as Utah’s sixth man. As I mentioned above, his scoring ability combined with Alec Burks gives Utah a much more explosive second unit than they have recently had.
