. SG. Utah Jazz. ALEC BURKS. B+

Overall GPA: 2.30 (C)

Alec Burks might be the most improved player on Utah’s roster since the opening weeks of the season. Just take a quick look at my grades for Burks so far this season…

10-game grade: D-plus

Quarter-season grade: C-plus

30-game grade: B-plus

Burks has become one of the league’s best bench options as of late. He has really polished his game this season and the numbers are starting to follow.

After cooling off a bit in Utah’s last two games, Burks had posted eight straight 10-plus point games. Despite shooting a combined 3-of-13 from the field against Boston and Cleveland, Burks is still shooting over 50 percent over Utah’s last 10 games.

The one-two punch of Alec Burks and Rodney Hood off the bench have really given Utah’s second unit some much-needed firepower.
