B. . SG/SF. Utah Jazz. JOE INGLES

Overall GPA: 3.00 (B)

Yet another “B” for Joe Ingles.

While Sefolosha’s three consecutive “B” grades seem to be positive, Ingles 3.0 seems to be more of a letdown.

While his 10.7 points per game over Utah’s last 10 outings isn’t anything to scoff at, Ingles hasn’t quite been the shooting threat many Jazz fans would like him to be.

After looking deeper into Ingles’ game by game numbers, I noticed a pretty striking statistic. The 52-million dollar man has yet to post a 20-point game all season.

The Jazz did not pay Ingles this offseason to be a 20-plus point per night kind of guy. However, it would be nice if he could occasionally post a big night here and there to help keep other teams honest defensively.

Ingles has been solid and continues to be a well-rounded player on Utah’s roster, adding over four rebounds and five assists per game to his scoring total.

A slight increase in his shot attempts may greatly improve Utah’s offense and Ingles’ scoring figures. Utah’s already improved offense could see a boost if Ingles can get himself closer to 14 or 15 points per night.
