Slow down the Bucks’ Big 3

When the Milwaukee Bucks traded for Eric Bledsoe a month ago, they created their own Big Three — Giannis Antetokounmpo, Khris Middleton and Bledsoe. There have been some mixed results so far, but Bledsoe is absolutely an upgrade over what they had going on before.

After the trade was completed, the Bucks quickly ripped off a four-game win streak. Overall they are 10-4 since the trade.

Their Big Three has been hot as of late, and they carried the Bucks to a close victory over the Dallas Mavericks on Friday night, combining for a season-high 82 points. The Bucks had 109 points on Friday, so the rest of the team only scored 27 points.

That is the key to beating the Milwaukee Bucks for the Jazz. Outside of their Big Three, the Bucks don’t have a ton of fire power. If Utah can limit Giannis, Middleton and Bledsoe, then Utah should have an easy road to victory.

The Jazz have already done this once, so it is not a stretch to think they can accomplish it again. When these teams last met two weeks ago on November 25th, the Jazz won 121-108. Giannis did have an effective game with 27 points and 13 rebounds, but he didn’t have the rest of the support he needed. The Jazz will need to have a similar defensive effort tonight.
