The Utah Jazz are in desperate need of a win and should be able to earn one against a terrible Chicago Bulls team on Wednesday night.

The Utah Jazz looked absolutely stunning in their 40-point blowout over the Orlando Magic last week, but quickly reverted back to the disappointing play that they had exhibited all week long as they fell to the Philadelphia 76ers in the final contest of a four-game road stint. Having lost eight of their last ten, the Utah Jazz are clearly reeling and in need of some major changes if they hope to compete at all in a loaded Western Conference.

Fortunately, they’ll have a nice opportunity to (hopefully) bounce back as they return home tomorrow to take on one of the league’s worst teams in the Chicago Bulls. After dealing away Jimmy Butler and buying out Dwyane Wade this offseason, Chicago clearly signaled that they’re in rebuild mode and their poor start to the season is certainly indicative of that fact.

The Bulls are just 3-11 and, just like the Jazz, have lost eight of their last ten. Not only that, but they’ll take on the Los Angeles Lakers tonight, then will go on to face the Jazz on the back end of a back-to-back. That’s not exactly a recipe for success for a young team that has struggled to win games under normal circumstances as it is.

Therefore, one would hope that the Utah Jazz could get some of their swagger back, put a complete game together and figure out a way to come out on top and get a much-needed win over a dwindling Bulls team. However, the NBA is a professional league and even the teams at the bottom of the pack can catch their opponents off guard if the situation is just right. Therefore, Utah will have to come in focused and emphasize the following key areas if they hope to get the W.
