The Utah Jazz will look to finally earn their first road win of the season against a Brooklyn Nets team that they defeated under a week ago.

The struggles of the Utah Jazz just seem to keep multiplying. Not only are they still the only NBA team without a road win, but they’ve also now lost six of their last seven. On top of that, an already battered team missing three of its most important players in Dante Exum, Joe Johnson and Rudy Gobert received more frustrating injury news regarding Ricky Rubio who is questionable to play on Friday with Achilles soreness.

In other words, it doesn’t appear that life is about to get any easier for the Jazz any time in the near future. They’ve struggled against even mediocre teams, so even though they’ll be taking on a hapless Brooklyn Nets squad that’s without its leading scorer in D’Angelo Russell who’s out with a bone contusion in his knee, the Jazz will still need to play exceptionally well if they hope to arise victorious.

The Jazz were able to come out on top against the Nets in Salt Lake City just last week, so hopefully they can take the lessons they learned from that game and apply them once again on Friday to finally earn their first road victory of the season. In order to do so, it will be absolutely critical that they put an emphasis on the following key areas.
