My Ranking:
While 11th in the West may be disappointing to Jazz fans, I believe that is right where this team should be at this point in the season. Remember, the Jazz have just one Brooklyn win at home since their four-game skid that included nearly historically bad offensive showings.
Losing your best player and foundation of your franchise is never going to be easy. If anyone can find a way to keep the Jazz in the hunt despite a rough upcoming schedule and injuries, though, it’s Quin Snyder and his staff.
Even without Gobert, I believe this team has enough to sneak into the playoffs, however, it will take much more than we have seen from Utah up until this point.
For you “#TankNoters”, the sky is not falling.
The Jazz are not the only team struggling to find their groove during the early portion of the season. The West currently has seven teams within two games of .500.
Dear Sports Illustrated and CBS Sports, the 5-8 Lakers are NOT one of these teams. #JustSayin
Lastly, If I did not make it clear in my comments above…
THE JAZZ ARE A BETTER TEAM THAN THE LAKERS.
