Although the Utah Jazz have shown some good signs so far during the 2017-18 season, there are three glaring concerns they’ll need to patch up right away.

With two straight wins under their belts, there’s no questioning that the Utah Jazz have looked significantly sharper of late than they did in last week’s embarrassing losses to the Los Angeles Clippers and Phoenix Suns. Even though the two opponents they defeated – the Los Angeles Lakers and Dallas Mavericks – are far from formidable foes, logging the victories was a nice way for the Jazz to bounce back and take a step forward.

And while in each of those wins they were able to patch up some of the former mistakes that had been plaguing them, they still have a long ways to go in several areas. After watching the Jazz through seven games on this young season, though, there are three items in particular that they will need to shore up if they hope to enjoy success throughout the 2017-18 campaign and ultimately qualify for the playoffs.

Fortunately, some of these areas are already showing forth reasons to be optimistic, but that doesn’t change the fact that Utah has a lot of work to do. If they’re to ride the momentum they’ve built from their latest victories and erase the dismal performances of their losses, improving the three following things will be of the utmost importance.
