The Utah Jazz will look to prevent their record from falling below .500 as they face the daunting task of playing the Oklahoma City Thunder tonight.

The Utah Jazz fell to the Minnesota Timberwolves in heart breaking fashion last night, dropping their record to 1-1 on the year. A few miscues including extremely costly late turnovers essentially doomed the Jazz in a game that very well could have ended in their favor.

Unfortunately, they’ll have little time to lick their wounds or make adjustments as they’ll be back in action for a second straight game tonight against an even more daunting foe in the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Thunder had one of the best offseasons of any team in the league as they were able to add stars Paul George and Carmelo Anthony as well as under-the-radar signing Patrick Patterson.

OKC looked phenomenal in their first contest as they topped the New York Knicks by a score of 105-84. Granted, that was against a dismal Knicks team, but for a squad that was predicted by several to have chemistry issues, they sure looked to be humming on all cylinders.

So the Jazz will absolutely need to find a way to overcome their likely fatigue and lock-down a prolific Thunder offensive attack if they hope to stay above .500 after following third game of the 2017-18 season. As they look to do so, these three keys will be their road map to victory.
