After an absolutely thrilling opening night, the following includes some scattered thoughts on many of the exciting signs the Utah Jazz have shown thus far.

As we now prepare for the Utah Jazz’s second game of the season and their first contest on the road, I couldn’t help but reflect and revisit all that we learned about the team in the thrilling season opener. While one single game obviously does not a season make, there’s still no denying that there were a lot of positives to glean from the Jazz’s performance and comeback victory over the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday.

For a nice list of some of the top takeaways from the game, be sure to check out John Keeffer’s latest piece where he gives his reactions to the Jazz victory. In this instance, though, rather than take a deep dive on a few big topics, I just wanted to briefly cover a slew of thoughts I had on what the Jazz showed in game one of the 2017-18 NBA season.
