With the preseason in the rear view mirror, the Utah Jazz were able to get answers to pressing questions heading into the 2017-18 season.

The preseason is in the books for the Utah Jazz, and I don’t want to jump the gun or set unrealistic expectations, but…right now the Jazz are on pace to go 82-0 this next season.

Maybe we should temper our expectation just a bit (60 wins sound reasonable?), but the Jazz really did look good during the course of the preseason en-route to going 5-0. The level of competition may have had something to do with that, as the Jazz played two non-NBA teams (Sydney Kings, Maccabi Haifa B.C.), one G-League team (Phoenix Suns) and the L.A. Lakers.

The preseason isn’t about wins and losses though. If the Jazz had gone 0-5, I wouldn’t necessarily think it was time to panic. The preseason is about ironing out kinks before the regular season, and answering important questions about your roster and style of play.

There are plenty of questions regarding this new-look Jazz team, and while the preseason isn’t a time to overreact, we have received answers to three important questions.
