The spotlight has been on Andrew Wiggins this offseason due to his seemingly impending contract extension with the Minnesota Timberwolves. In any event, he is a dynamic two-way player and should benefit greatly from the addition of Jimmy Butler.

With Butler in the fold and Jeff Teague running point, Wiggins should be far less pressured this year to be “the guy” on the perimeter for Minnesota. No longer will the scoring load be maintained by just he and Karl-Anthony Towns.

Wiggins should also develop his skill set while learning from one of the league’s best two-way players in Butler.
