(14) Ricky Rubio (PG, Utah Jazz)

Ricky Rubio is the second Jazzman in as many spots to open this list.

It initially seemed to many that Rubio was brought in to help alleviate the loss of George Hill and entice a certain No. 20 to stick around. While that may or may not have been the plan of the front office, Rubio seems like an ideal fit to run the Jazz offense this season, while helping to maintain Utah’s defensive identity.

Rubio’s ability to get teammates involved, run the floor and play tough defense is a match made in heaven for a Jazz team desperately needing more than one of its returning players to step up.

After he averaged a career-high of 9.1 assists per game last year, Rubio should provide ample opportunities for his teammates to do just that.
