There’s plenty of exciting Utah Jazz games to look forward to in 2017-18, but the following five are a cut above the rest.

There finally appears to be a light at the end of the tunnel for basketball fans as the Utah Jazz, along with the rest of the NBA, released their 2017-18 schedules on Monday. As is largely common knowledge, the season will start 10 days earlier this year, making for a slightly shorter wait until NBA action gets underway once again.

Unfortunately, while the schedule change was supposed to reduce the number of back-to-backs, as my J-Notes colleague Ryan Aston pointed out earlier, the Jazz actually find themselves with just one less set of two games in two nights. Not to mention, they have a grueling stretch in December that features them playing six straight road games, five of which are against powerhouse teams such as Cleveland, Boston, Houston, Oklahoma City and Milwaukee.

That stretch was enough to earn the Jazz one of the top five most difficult months in the league as you can see in the tweet below:

For further analysis on the schedule as a whole, make sure to check out Ryan’s piece in its entirety to see just what the Jazz are up against next year. Rather than pick apart the whole schedule, though, I instead wanted to pick out five match-ups that I’m most looking forward to and that Utah Jazz fans ought to have circled on their calendars.

The Jazz will be a new-look team in 2017-18 and while there’s bound to be several exciting moments throughout the 82-game slate, these five games figure to be absolute must-watch TV.
