Avery Bradley

In order to create enough cap space to sign former Utah Jazz All-Star Gordon Hayward, the Boston Celtics were forced to trade away versatile guard and All-Defensive team snub Avery Bradley. There’s no doubt that Hayward had the better season this past year, but I truly believe that the Celtics will miss Bradley more than they think. Aside from his stellar defense, he put up 16.3 points per game on 46.3 percent shooting from the field and 39 percent from deep – nearly identical percentages to Hayward’s.

After this upcoming year in Detroit, Bradley will hit unrestricted free agency and if he’s able to keep up the level of play and improve as he had nearly every year in Boston, then he could be a great, albeit underrated, pickup in Utah.
