Ike Anigbogu – PF/C

Height: 6’10”, Wingspan: 7′ 6 1/4″, Weight: 230

Two of our The J Notes staff had UCLA freshman Ike Anigbogu going at No. 24 to the Utah Jazz. His numbers from last season aren’t exactly mind-blowing as he put up limited minutes during his time with the Bruins and averaged just 4.7 points and 4.0 rebounds per game. In other words, it might take some time for Anigbogu to truly be an NBA contributor.

However, what sets him apart are his physical tools and NBA-ready frame. He has all the makings of an elite rebounder and a solid finisher in the paint. He would do well to add somewhat to his shooting touch but overall he is an exciting young prospect.

Given that the Jazz struggled at the power forward position this last season as well as at backup center behind Rudy Gobert, Anigbogu could be a solid answer for their future, likely competing with last year’s draft selection Joel Bolomboy for a spot in the tail end of the rotation next season.
