Johnathan Motley – PF/C

Height: 6’9″, Wingspan: 7’4″, Weight: 230

Despite the fact that many mock drafts have Baylor product Johnathan Motley going in the second round (in fact Draft Express ironically has him going to the Jazz with their 42nd pick), one of our contributors was bold and selected him to be Utah’s 30th pick.

It wouldn’t be a bad move by any means if such ended up being the case. He’s somewhat undersized but has an incredible wingspan that, combined with his speed, could allow him to be an elite rebounder. He averaged nearly 10 boards per game in his junior season with Baylor and has plenty of physical tools that could help him be a steal of a prospect for a team willing to go out on a limb for him.
