2) Kevin Durant’s Anti-Jazz Rhetoric

Although KD came to the defense of the Salt Lake City nightlife, he hasn’t always had a rosy disposition toward the town and the team that plays in it. A few years back, after getting heckled by a couple of fans, he threw the entire fanbase under the bus when asked about the crowd noise in Utah.

He went so far as to say that Vivint Smart Home (formerly EnergySolutions) Arena, one of the league’s most energetic environments, was as weak as an empty arena —

OK, OK. That’s old stuff, I know. But how about this little nugget, from just a few short weeks ago when the Jazz and the Warriors were still doing battle —

You can poke fun at our nightlife or recycle some old Mormon jokes, but when you tell the Jazz Bear, one of the all-time greats in the mascot game, to “get the f**k off the court” in our building, you have gone too far!
