Blake Griffin

The same disclaimers that applied to Chris Paul also are fitting for Blake Griffin. However, as I stated previously, with the Clippers looking likely to change things up, it might be best for Blake to move on.

Would moving on mean he’s likely to sign with the Jazz? Probably not. But although injuries are becoming somewhat a concern in his case, there’s no denying that his talent would make him a formidable addition. Griffin’s acquisition would likely mean parting with Derrick Favors and could halt them financially from making many other changes, but pairing a star of his caliber alongside Gordon Hayward and Rudy Gobert would indeed be exhilarating.

Still, I believe the most likely course of action is that Griffin will stay in LA and even if he left, despite the basketball appeal in Utah, I still doubt he would be interested in joining the team. The Jazz will likely look to make a splash this offseason, but I have a hard time believing that adding Griffin will be the course of action that they take.
