The Utah Jazz players had their end of season interviews yesterday which gave a wide array of interesting perspectives on the team’s future moving forward.

With the 2016-17 NBA season officially over for the Utah Jazz, today was the day that the team got their final thoughts and feelings about the season out in the end of season interviews. In a lot of ways, this is the last we will see or hear from the players until the 2017-18 season ramps up, although of course the impending free agents will be closely followed this summer.

Overall, the interviews were solid and left great reason for optimism for this Jazz team moving forward. It’s abundantly clear that this is a tight-knit group and for the most part they’re happy to be playing in Utah.

Of course, it’s easy to spew false positivity in an interview and have other thoughts or intentions hidden underneath, so perhaps some guys are less thrilled than they appear. There’s also no doubting that the Jazz need to make improvements this offseason, so unfortunately the organization may have to part with some stellar and beloved guys in order to make room for newcomers that could help lift the team to another level.

Time will tell what happens with this current roster, but for now I wanted to take some time to give my thoughts and reactions to the responses that each player gave to their interview questions. So without further ado, here’s a look at the key takeaways from each Jazzman’s end of season comments.
