Gordon Hayward Will Be an All-Star – CORRECT

I’m extremely proud to say that this prediction proved to be absolutely correct! Gordon Hayward was indeed selected to be an All-Star by the Western Conference coaches and it was a very deserving selection.

At 22.2 points per game on 46.5 percent shooting from the field and 38.5 percent from deep, while adding 5.6 rebounds and 3.5 assists, Hayward has been among the league’s elite all season and has been a crucial leader for this Jazz squad.

And though in all reality, the way the All-Star game was played isn’t necessarily Hayward’s cup of tea, he still represented the Jazz very well throughout the festivities and gets to add the impressive recognition to his NBA resume. In 17 minutes of play, Hayward went 4-of-7 from the field to finish with eight points while leading all players with four steals.

That final stat was very much indicative that he was the one of the few players out there actually playing defense, and that alone was a significant way that he made fans proud. Hopefully this All-Star selection is only the first of many to come as Hayward continues to excel and propel the Jazz to newfound heights.
