Utah Jazz: Top Trade Target From All 30 NBA Teams
Denver Nuggets – Danilo Gallinari
In a phenomenal article recently written by KSL’s Andy Larsen about Derrick Favors’ struggles this season, he mentioned Danilo Gallinari as a potential trade target that could help patch up the power forward spot. Personally, I absolutely love the idea.
Though Gallinari is often considered a small forward, he’s certainly capable of playing a stretch-four role. He’s shooting 38.1 percent from deep this year and at six-foot-ten has the ability to check opposing power forwards in many situations.
Gallinari has also been mentioned as available several times and a handful of teams have reached out to the Nuggets to inquire about him. Caught in a tricky decision whether to attempt to fortify for the playoffs or look more towards the future, it’s possible the Nuggets could be either heavy trade deadline participants or stand pat.
If a potential deal can work itself out, though, his services could be very well utilized with the Utah Jazz.
Along with Gallinari, Kenneth Faried is another name surrounding the Nuggets who has been linked to trade rumors for a couple of years. Although his departure seems less likely now that Denver has traded Jusuf Nurkic and despite the fact that Faried hasn’t quite lived up to the hype from earlier in his career, he can be an electrifying power forward and is at least worthy of consideration.
Honorable Mention – Kenneth Faried
