Los Angeles Clippers – Jamal Crawford

Despite some apparent angst about the topic, Jamal Crawford has been showing up in a number of trade rumors recently. He’s one of the league’s most consistent and superb bench players and even with 16 years of NBA experience under his belt, he continues to be a contributor.

Crawford is averaging 12.4 points per game this season and though his three-point shooting is down somewhat, there’s no questioning what this clutch player is capable of. The Jazz have seen an incredible jump in production this season thanks to the additions of veterans such as George Hill and Joe Johnson and adding yet another proven vet in Crawford could be huge for them come playoff time.

Especially given the inconsistencies at the shooting guard position that I’ve mentioned in this piece, Crawford could be a nice bench piece to help shore the Jazz up in that respect.

Another player who has shown up in multiple trade rumors for the Clippers has been Austin Rivers. Despite the never-ending jokes that he’s simply on the team because his dad is the coach, Rivers is actually putting up a solid season this year.

At 12.2 points per game he’s the Clippers’ fifth-leading scorer and is shooting an impressive 39.9 percent from deep. With numbers like that, he could very well be a nice fit for the Jazz off the bench.

Honorable Mention – Austin Rivers
