4) Greg Ostertag

I know what you’re thinking; “Ostertag? What?? How?!” I totally get it too. After all, Greg Ostertag may have spent a record amount of days in Jerry Sloan‘s doghouse and was perpetually maligned by fans and the media alike throughout his Jazz career.

Be that as it may, he was still a starter on the best teams in franchise history and a key cog on a squad that pushed Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls to the brink in the NBA Finals. Believe it or not, he also ranks as one of the Association’s career leaders in blocked shots (31st in blocks per game, 45th in total blocks).

Given his career production and the fact that he was a late first-round pick (28th overall in ’95), you could make the case that he was one of the best value selections in team history.

Utah Jazz Stats: 700 GP, 4.9 points, 5.7 rebounds, 1.8 blocks and one foray into Hollywood stardom.

Next: 3. Rudy Gobert
