Saturday, November 19th at Houston

We begin our wonderful list on a lovely Saturday afternoon in November. The Jazz and Rockets split their season series last year two apiece, but in the end it was Houston who beat the Jazz out by the narrowest of margins for the final seed in the playoffs.

The fact that it was Houston that scraped by to steal the playoff bid that very likely could have been the Jazz’s should provide Utah with plenty of motivation to take this squad down once and for all.

Especially considering that the Rockets essentially buckled in their first round match-up against the Warriors, whereas the Jazz would have at least likely given us a more entertaining series.

Utah should be looking to prove that the Rockets are no longer in the same realm competitively. The sense of this first match-up of the new season against Houston should give it a kind of “grudge match” feel that is bound to be a thrilling watch.

And not to mention, both games in which the Jazz defeated the Rockets last season were absolutely incredible, landing in the top three of the best games from last season in a list compiled by yours truly.

So, in hopes that this contest follows suit, be sure to mark November 19th on your calendars, Jazz fans. The game begins at 3:00 MT, so get up early, get your chores done and be ready to watch. The next week is Thanksgiving anyway, so why not go ahead and kick the holiday off early with some quality Jazz time.
