Courtney Lee

2015-2106 stats: 9.6 ppg, 2.6 rpg, 1.7 apg, .454 fg%, .378 3p%, 11.55 PER

The three-and-d guy has never been more coveted than right now. That’s exactly who Courtney Lee is.

If the Jazz could snag Lee, they’d instantly improve an already stellar defense. Lee is widely considered as one of the league’s premier perimeter defenders. His length, quickness and strength allows him to guard everyone from point guards to small forwards.

On top of that, they’d get a terrific athlete who can finish at the rim and in transition, as well as a deadeye outside shooter — especially from the corners.

He’s also reported to be a great teammate and locker room guy.

Hypothetically, If the Jazz signed Lee, pairing him with the starters would create an even more powerful defensive juggernaut that could spread the floor and rain down jumpers — leaving the paint wide open for Derrick Favors to wreak havoc upon. Bring him off the bench and you have a spark plug who can instantly contribute on both ends of the floor.

Either way, it’s an upgrade.

I want Courtney Lee in a Jazz uniform next year. Badly.
