2004-2010

Record: 273-219 (.555)

Key Players: Deron Williams, Carlos Boozer, Andrei Kirilenko, Mehmet Okur

The Jazz finished the 2004-05 campaign with a 26-56 record, which was the worst record the team had since the 1981-1982 season. The down year gave the Jazz the third overall pick in the NBA draft, which they used to select Deron Williams. That summer they also signed Carlos Boozer.

Two seasons later, the Jazz led by the 1-2 punch of Williams and Boozer, made it back to the playoffs and advanced all the way to the Western Conference Finals where they eventually lost to the San Antonio Spurs.

The Jazz made the playoffs the next three years under the Williams-Boozer era, but they never made it back to the conference finals. After the 2009-2010 season, Boozer left in free agency and signed with the Chicago Bulls.
