Allen Crabbe

2015-2016 stats: 10.3 ppg, 2.7 rpg, 1.2 apg, .459 fg%, .394 3p%, 12.26 PER

It’s usually in the third year of NBA experience that a player makes “the jump.” That’s exactly what happened this season with Allen Crabbe. And at only 24 years old, I’d be comfortable putting up a decent sum of money on his best play still being in front of him.

Crabbe is one of those unique NBA players who’s solid on both sides of the floor. Yes, while Crabbe’s biggest strength is his shooting, he also nets a positive defensive rating.

With the Jazz, he would have the ability to fit into the second unit’s offensive and defensive fabric fairly seamlessly — teams will forever need shooting and defense.

Adding Crabbe to the mix would give the Jazz a well-balanced player, and another shooter for defenses to worry about. Sometimes, that’s all it takes.
