Jared Dudley

2015-2016 stats: 7.9 ppg, 3.5 rpg, 2.1 apg. .478 fg%, .420 3p%, 11.69 PER

A superstar Jared Dudley is not. Nor will he ever be. But that’s the beauty of a guy like Dudley — he knows his role and he sticks to it. The Jazz already have their go-to guys. Their foundation is set. Dudley’s the type of guy you bring in as a complementary player.

At 30-years old, Dudley’s been around the block. He’s a grizzled vet, and veteran leadership is something the Jazz are in dire need of — remember, the Jazz were the second youngest team in the league last year.

Along with being a veteran, Dudley has always maximized his talents due to his hustle, toughness, an extremely high basketball IQ and a nearly-palpable will to win. He’s also a fantastic shooter — especially from deep — who has the ability to fill the role of the coveted stretch four position.

By adding Dudley, the Jazz get a guy who makes everyone around him better. And how can you not improve by adding a guy who makes everybody better?
