1) The Jazz Aren’t Where They Want to Be, but They Will Be
After shootaround on Wednesday morning, Hayward told the media that the Jazz aren’t quite where they want to be, but also assessed that there’s plenty of time to right the ship. One needn’t look further than the team’s recent road win over the Atlanta Hawks for reason to believe.
Despite coming in after a blowout loss to the Orlando Magic and an 0-3 record on the road trip, the Jazz rallied to take down one of the best team’s in the league on their home floor. They were focused on the task and did what good teams do–persevere.

The Jazz are still a young team and hiccups are inevitable, but they continue to boast one of the more versatile roster in the league and have fought through adversity. Moreover, the stifling defense of late last season remains firmly in place. The team currently ranks sixth in the NBA in defensive rating at 96.6.
It may seem like we’re on a roller coaster ride right now with a 5-5 record, questions at the point guard spot and a slumping Hayward, but hang in there. Better tidings are ahead.
