27) Los Angeles Lakers: They are heavily dependent on their rookies and sophomore players. While this is probably a good step for the future, it usually isn’t a recipe for a successful season in the NBA. What will they get out of Kobe this year?
28) Denver Nuggets: This team is built to run and keep running. Can Mike Malone coach them to be exciting?
29) Minnesota Timberwolves: RIP Flip Saunders. He was one of the true gentlemen of the NBA. One has to wonder how his passing will affect the team–this could leave a big impression on the young Wolves. Still, they have a powerful core for the future.
30) Philadelphia 76ers: They’ve got a long way to climb.
