21) Detroit Pistons: Andre Drummond is probably the early favorite to win the NBA’s rebounding title. Really like their rookie, the man known as Stanimal. Stan Van Gundy likely still has a lengthy rebuild ahead of him.

22) Orlando Magic: They have an intriguing young core. Can they take the next step with a new coach?

23) New York Knicks: They are going to be better than last year. A healthy Carmelo alone could take them into playoffs. Then again, they are the Knicks.

24) Portland Trailblazers: It could be a long year in PDX, but I like how they have bolstered their frontcourt with interesting young players.

25) Sacramento Kings: The Kings might be underrated. On paper, there’s a lot to like about the squad in Sacramento. If Coach Karl can manage the egos on this team, they’ll rise rapidly in these rankings. That’s a pretty big if though.
