9) Chicago Bulls: Fred Hoiberg had an incredible run coaching at his alma mater, but how will he handle a talented roster like the Bulls? Joakim Noah to the bench could be a great move, but they need Taj Gibson to start instead of Nikola Mirotic to have an iota of defense in the starting frontcourt.

10) Washington Wizards: John Wall should be in the conversation for top point guard in the league. A contract year for Bradley Beal should push the Wizards ahead, especially if Otto Porter can sustain his playoff form.

11) Toronto Raptors: DeMarre Carroll looks like good addition on paper, but the Raptors have lost part of their bench mob.

12) New Orleans Pelicans: Anthony Davis is arguably a top-five player in the league. But injuries are their main concern. If they can stay healthy, they can be dangerous.

13) Miami Heat: With Chris Bosh’s return, I expect the Heat to be potent in the East.

14) Utah Jazz: Continuity is the order of the day in Utah, as they elected not to make a splash in the free agency. With the loss of Dante Exum, the play of Trey Burke could make or break the season for the Jazz.

15) Milwaukee Bucks: They did add Greg Monroe, but I still don’t see how they are going to space the floor.
