11) Trey Lyles
Rookie Trey Lyles showed the wide range of skills he possesses and also showed why the Jazz selected him No. 12 overall in June’s NBA Draft. He has the ability to shoot outside on the pick and roll or score with his back to the basket in the post. He also seems to have really good handle for a big man and a great passing ability.
With all of that said, the former Kentucky Wildcat had a quiet preseason, appearing in only six contests and scoring 5.3 points per games.
Given his tantalizing potential as a player, I would not be surprised if his role grows throughout the season. For now, he’ll continue to battle for minutes in Coach Snyder’s crowded frontcourt rotation.
Preseason Stats: 6 GP, 15.5 min, 5.3 pts, 2.7 rbs, 0.2 blk, 42.4 FG%
