12) Elijah Millsap

Returning defensive stud Elijah Millsap had an okay preseason for the Jazz, but not a great one. Millsap played in all seven preseason games, averaging 16.5 minutes per contest. Millsap showed some flashes of improvement in his offensive games at times, driving to the hoop and seemingly finishing at the rim better than we’ve see before.

Nonetheless, he did not shoot the ball well overall, connecting on only 36.8 percent of his field goal attempts and shooting a dismal 14.3 percent from behind the arc. His shooting woes continue to be discouraging.

Still, Millsap looked good defensively and appears to have locked down minutes in Jazz coach Quin Snyder’s wing rotation.

Preseason Stats: 7 GP, 16.5 min, 3.7 pts, 2.4 rbs, 0.7 ast, 36.8 FG%, 14.3 3P%
