2) Gordon Hayward

Gordon Hayward put in a strong preseason–as expected–and is looking more and more like the face of the franchise. Hayward’s numbers weren’t off the charts, but were what we would expect from him in the preseason, gearing up for the regular season.

Hayward was second on the team in scoring at 13 points per game, but what stands out is his blistering hot shooting from three-point land. In his six preseason games, G-Time knocked down 45.5 percent of his three-point attempts.

If Hayward continues to connect at above 40 percent during the season, he could be a shoe-in for the All-Star game–just as long as the Jazz are in playoff contention.
