6) Raul Neto
Raul Neto has played better than I think anyone expected him to play at this point. He’s under control, makes good decisions with the ball and is actually shooting the ball pretty well from three-point range.
The initial knock on him was that he needed to develop his shooting if he was going to be successful as a point guard in the NBA and, while his overall percentage must improve, he has done that so far from behind the arc.
Neto is also better defensively then most expected, getting steals and being that “scrappy” defensive player that coaches love. I expect Neto to continue to increase the minutes he gets as the season goes on–some believe he could even challenge for a spot in starting lineup.
