4. Sam Dekker, Wisconsin Badgers
Although a workout showdown with Rondae Hollis-Jefferson was not to be, Wisconsin forward Sam Dekker made the trip to Utah and impressed team officials. Dekker is another player who compared himself to Hayward, as well as Trevor Ariza of the Houston Rockets.
Sam Dekker averaged 1.3 3FGM / game during his 3 seasons at Wisconsin. The forward scored a career-high (27) vs. Arizona in the #Elite8.

While Dekker struggled with shooting consistency throughout his career, he was aces during the NCAA Tournament last season. Dekker shot 57 percent from the field overall and nearly 42 percent from three-point range during the Badgers’ tourney run.
He may not astound people with his game, but that size and versatility on both sides of the ball could see him become the kind of do-everything player that NBA teams covet.
