If you can’t get Sean Connery to join your secret service, why not try Roger Moore?
Tibor Pleiss (or Pleiß if we’re being fancy) has spent the last season with FC Barcelona Basquet, playing back-up minutes to the man who spawned this entire affair, Ante Tomic.
Like Tomic, Pleiss checks in at seven-foot-two and 260-plus pounds. The 25-year-old from Bergisch Gladbach, Germany was acquired at mid-season in the Enes Kanter trade.
While Pleiss isn’t as skilled or seasoned as Tomic, the big man is younger and seems infinitely more motivated to make the jump to the NBA.
If the current pulse of the Pleiss situation is any indicator, the Jazz could be acquiring a seven-foot Euro star after all.
