Jonas Jerebko, Boston Celtics
Full disclosure—I’m a fan of Celtics forward Jonas Jerebko; have been since his rookie season. To me, his size, versatility and shooting ability make him the kind of player any team would want on the end of their bench.
The six-foot-ten, 231-pound Jerebko can play multiple positions on the floor and has good mobility and court vision for his size.
In 59 games with the Celtics and Detroit Pistons this season, Jerebko is shooting over 46-percent from the field, 40-percent from three-point range and 84-percent from the line. In his 13 games since joining Boston, the C’s are only allowing 96 points per 100 possessions with Jerebko on the floor, while posting an offensive rating of nearly 108.
Sounds like sweet icing for the glorious cake the Jazz are baking.
