6. Boston Celtics – Julius Randle

I was thinking that the Celtics would consider taking Embiid here, letting him rehab for the year, and at the same time finding themselves back in the lottery next season. However, rumors are that the Celtics have no interest in wanting to put off winning another year. They seem to be in a win now mode.

By drafting Randle, you are getting a player that seems to have the most NBA ready body in the entire draft. He is also the strongest player in the draft, and a rebounding machine. He has some work to do on the defensive end of the court, but he is going to eventually be an All-Star.

Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo would love to have a guy on the block that he can rely on to go for a double-double almost on a nightly basis. He will get that with Randle. Could be a good fit for the Celtics.
