4. Cleveland Cavaliers – Noah Vonleh

After trading back with the Magic, the Cavaliers will be looking for a big man here. They had their sights set on drafting Joel Embiid with the first pick because they were convinced that taking the best big man in the draft would help in their talks with James to convince him to come back. After the foot injury that led to surgery for Embiid, the Cavaliers decided to go a different route.

Vonleh could potentially be another Chris Bosh type player. However, he is going to take time to get to that point, maybe too much time to convince James to come back home. If James decided to sign a max offer with the Cavaliers for five years, it could take almost three years or more for Vonleh to get to a point where he plays a huge role for a team. James might not like that.

He does have upside, but I don’t know if he can get to it. However, it makes sense for Cleveland to take him here.
