12. Cleveland Cavaliers – Nik Stauskas

Cleveland made the trade with the Magic to acquire this pick, as well as the fourth pick and Arron Afflalo. When they land here, and still have hopes of bringing back LeBron, they need to go after Stauskas.

The former Michigan sharp shooter is the next best shooter in this draft behind McDermott. If they can have Afflalo start at the shooting guard position, and have Stauskas come in off the bench behind him and provide three point shooting, it could be a great fit and help in the convincing of LeBron.

The other thing to keep in mind here is the status of Dion Waiters. In another Cleveland rumor, Waiters believes that he or guard Kyrie Irving will be traded this off season. To me, there is a zero percent chance that the Cavaliers trade Irving. He is a key piece in trying to convince LeBron to come home. Waiters is expendable.

Looking at it, a shooting guard rotation of Afflalo and Stauskas, is a better rotation than Afflalo and Waiters. To me, I think LeBron would agree with that too.
