During the NBA Playoffs, there isn’t a lot of Jazz related news to go around. However, there is some stuff out there to keep Jazz fans happy during the off season. We’ve got all the best Jazz content from around the web this weekend to get you caught up on everything. Check them all out below.

Whenever a team changes coaching candidates, there is sure to be a large list of names that get discussed.

Welcome to the life of a Utah Jazz fan. With every day it seems that more and more coaching candidates are being thrown around on Jazz-related stories and fan blogs, bringing the list of potential candidates that have been mentioned to 29 (accurate as of May 1). Now, with the NBA playoffs adding to that mix of candidates, the number will likely grow to include at least a handful of other names.

With that, it is important to mention some coaches who will not coach the Jazz, to make the daily water-cooler talks just a tad bit simpler. (Continue reading here)

How long will it take for the Jazz to become a perennial playoff team again?  (via BleacherReport.com)

The Utah Jazz have failed to make the postseason for the past two years, and it leaves questions about how long it will take for the franchise to become a perennial playoff team again.

Missing one season’s postseason feels more like seven to Utah fans after they were treated to 20 straight playoff appearances under Jerry Sloan and Frank Layden at one point. The team has never won an NBA title, but it has a rich history of getting past the regular season.

With that said, what’s next for the struggling Jazz?

Utah’s biggest battle will be competing in the ridiculously talented and balanced Western Conference. It wouldn’t be too surprising to see the Jazz make a postseason push if they were playing in the East, but they’re in the unfortunate position of needing to win more games than they lose (this is how it should be). (Continue reading here)

Damian Lillard and John Stockton: The shots of a lifetime (via Purpleandblues.com)

Damian Lillard became a superstar Friday night as he hit the game winner against Houston to send them to the next round of the playoffs.  Sound familiar?  It should Jazz fans as John Stockton did the same thing against the same team only to send the Utah Jazz to the NBA Finals.

Being able to watch Damian Lillard at Weber State made this shot even sweeter and I think most Jazz fans are happy for DL and the Blazers.  I know I am.

Now that you saw that notice how the call is almost the same as it was for John Stockton 17 years ago… “And Damian Lillard sends the Portland Trailblazers to the second round of the Playoffs.”  First time in 14 years for the Blazers. (Continue reading here)
