Doug McDermott – Senior

Doug McDermott has put up some very impressive numbers this season at Creighton.  He is second in the entire NCAA in scoring at 24.9 points per game and also leads his team in rebounds at 7.2 per game.  McDermott’s game has improved every season and now he has his stock at a mid first round pick and possibly in the lottery.  I like McDermott’s game and he’s leading his team to a fairly good season.  They have a real test tonight against number 4 Villanova and it will be games like these that NBA scouts want to see him perform at a high level to let them know if he can compete at the next level.  The one knock on McDermott’s game is his defense but the scoring ability he has will keep him in  the first round of this year’s draft.
