Newman’s 2014 NBA Draft Lottery Big Board 1.0

11 of 15

Number 10

Gary Harris – Sophomore

One of the best all around players in this draft on both sides of the basketball lands Gary Harris at number 10 on my rankings.  Harris can shoot, get to the rim and create plays for his teammates on offense while having the ability to make big plays on the defensive side of the ball as well.  The knock on Harris has been his low shooting percentage but in his most recent game against Illinois he had 23 points on 7-9 shooting from the field.  His all around game has him on track to be a lottery pick in the draft but his shooting percentage will need to continue to rise or he’s at risk for his stock to fall and slide out of the lottery.  All in all the upside for Harris is there since he has shown the ability to defend and score and do anything else his team needs to win.
