Jeremy Evans

Did anyone expect Jeremy to be able to come into the season and start it off by going 12-12 from the field? Well maybe because everyone would think that he was going to dunk 12 times. Did anyone expect the major majority of those shots to be jump shots? I doubt it.

Jeremy, to me, has really been a surprise. I watched him in Boise during the pre-season against the Trail Blazers. He matched up against LaMarcus Aldridge in the paint, and it was not pretty. Aldridge had a lot more size and skill than Jeremy did. I didn’t think come regular season that Jeremy could make it into the rotation because of his lack of size. He proved me wrong though.

He has made it into the rotation for the first time in his career and he is making the most of it. Coming off the bench and playing 19.8 minutes per game, and averaging 7.3 points and 5.6 rebounds. Jeremy, as said before, is shooting jump shots. That alone is good to see, but to see he is shooting them at 50.4% is great to see.
