7. Who will lead the Jazz in free throw % this season?

Haslam – Kanter-  His free throws are money and this is from a big guy.

R. McDermott – Hayward, I don’t think explanation is needed.

L. McDermott – Gordon Hayward. He is a free throw perfectionist and already shoots a great percentage. I expect that to continue with increased opportunities.

Newman – Hmm I guess Hayward will.  We really don’t have a extremely good free throw shooter.  Trey Burke may also be our leader in free throws but he only shot 80% from the line in college.  So I guess i’ll go with Hayward here.

Anderson – Trey Burke. He’s a point guard, and will have the ball in his hands in late-game fouling situations. He has that clutch factor, but, even more so than that, he has a dead eye stroke and lots of confidence in his shot. He’ll have plenty of motivation after Summer League.

Powers – Hayward will be our best free throw shooter, but not by much. Kanter and Burke are also very good free throw shooters. In late game situations, look for any one of these 3 guys to have the ball in there hand for a chance to go to the free throw line.
